Louis Cazzetta, M.S.E.D, NR-EMTB,

President and Founder of Primum Non Nocere Foundation

Born and raised in Bensonhurst Brooklyn NY and now residing in Waxhaw North Carolina. I attended Xaverian High School, Graduated St. Francis College with a BS in Health Care Management and completed my MS in Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness through Trident University International. 

My EMS career started in 1988 volunteering with BRAVO & Bensonhurst Volunteer Ambulance service. I soon went on to work as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) within the NYC 911 system through different voluntary hospitals including Victory Memorial Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center and Maimonides Medical Center. 

I started teaching EMS education in 1999 with Emergency Care Programs, Inc as a Certified Instructor Coordinator. Over the years I have had the honor of teaching for the Borough Manhattan Community College as an Adjunct Instructor, appointed Regional Faculty for the NYC American Heart Association, Instructor Trainer for Health and Safety Institute and currently Co-founder of Training for Life NC, a non for profit company.

Linda Reissman

PNNF Board of Director

Linda Reissman has over thirty years of experience in the municipal, private, and governmental sectors of the emergency management, business continuity, public health, and EMS disciplines. She received her Master's Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management from Touro University International. 
 
Linda is the former Director of Emergency Management for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer
Center (MSK) from 2007-2020 where she was responsible for emergency preparedness and clinical business continuity programs for the hospital, and all ambulatory sites and research facilities throughout NY and NJ. 

 
Linda also served as an Emergency Planner for the NYC Mayors Office of Emergency Management where and assisted in the development of the NYC Bio-terrorism Plan and Family Assistance Plan. Linda was also a member and Training Officer for the NDMS/Disaster Medical Assistance Team in the NYC region and deployed to national disasters including 9/11. 

 
As the former Senior EMS Representative for the New York State Bureau of EMS, Linda was responsible for regulatory oversight of EMS agencies and training centers.

Nicholas A. Portera,

PNNF Board Member

Nicholas A. Portera, Born and Raised in Staten Island, New York and residing in Mahwah, NJ has worked for the Fire Department of the City of New York for 5 years now and currently serves as an EMT, working in Division 9, Queens West. Nicholas has previously worked at FDNY HQ as a Voluntary Hospital Liaison working closely with the Non-Profit Hospitals. He also worked closely with FEMA during the COVID-19 Response. 

Nicholas has served with many local volunteer EMS squads and most recently served as the president for Volunteer Heart Ambulance, also serving to write grants for North Shore Rescue Squad and currently is the Corresponding Secretary for Bellerose Rescue in Queens. 

Nicholas is an American Heart Association Instructor and is currently working toward obtaining a New York State Certified Lab Instructor Certification. Most recently the New York City Regional Emergency Medical Service Council awarded Nicholas as one of the Guardians of Life awards as its National EMS Week Awards Dinner for providing service to the Voluntary/Volunteer EMS Agencies during COVID-19 Activation. 

Nicholas is proud to be a member of the Masonic Fraternity as well as other service organizations. Nicholas was elected to receive the Active Legion of Honor from the Order of DeMolay is the Highest Honor within the Order of DeMolay, due to his dedication to the Emergency Medical Service Profession. 

As an Advisor for New York DeMolay, Nicholas is often developing new policies and procedures, and serves as a safety director at many New York State DeMolay events to ensure the well-being of the participants.

My name is Keith McCaffery, I have been an EMT for 25 years currently working for the FDNY going on 18 years. 

I am the current VP for My name is Keith McCaffery, I have been an EMT for 25 years currently working for the FDNY going on 18 years. 

I am the current VP for PNNF.NET, I have been involved with this great organization for 7 years now. 

I have been a member of both volunteer ambulance squads on Staten island, North shore rescue squad where I held various positions and volunteer heart ambulance.

I was the advisor to an explorer post at both squads as well.

I also taught EMT skills for emergency care programs.
